In my younger years I struggled with embracing how different I was. I constantly found myself striving to look like the crowd, instead of choosing to be distinct by exhibiting my most authentic self. I was picked on for not "matching" and some would tell me that I didnt have style, but boy were they wrong. As I grew and focused on who I wanted to be I noticed that even when I sought out to be like everyone else I never fit in. It was there that I decided to be true to myself.
